Reflect
Reflect is the portrait and lifestyle thread of the studio's work. It covers editorial portraits of makers, artisans, and people photographed in their own work environments — the places where they are most clearly themselves. It also includes quieter lifestyle work: domestic scenes, personal essays, the slower kind of image that doesn't announce itself.
The approach is consistent across most of this work: available light, minimal intervention, enough time with the subject that they stop performing for the camera. The frames that come from that space are the ones worth printing.
